The highly popular photo sharing site Instagram just rolled out a big change to “go public.” All users will now have their own profile page on the Web, and very soon, you’ll be able to see any page (even if you don’t have an Instagram account) by simply typing in the username at the end of the URL.
Why is this news relevant? Well, it has a lot of potential for marketers. Plus, it’s another social media site, and we have all seen how intertwined social media and SEO have become.
